Our Favorite Tips On Earning Extra Cash Through Paid Surveys

March 3, 2010 by shuey03 Leave a Comment

Do you want to learn the best and easiest way to earn extra cash online? It is about time that you learn more about paid surveys. There are lots of paid online surveys and they offer quick and easy ways of earning extra money while you are surfing through the seemingly limitless World Wide Web. There are lots of surveys out there that can get you paid immediately for simply completing them, given that you qualify for their target respondents. While most compensation rates vary from under $10 to a little over $50, there are surveys out there that can allow you to earn more than a hundred dollars for simply taking them.

It is quite easy to find paid surveys online. One way is through putting in the right keywords into search engines so you can be presented with the most popular survey sites. If you want to be more careful because you do not wish to fall prey to swindlers and scams, you can join paid survey banks or databases. This might require you to pay a certain fee but most of the time, membership fees are kept at a minimum. In this manner, you can have access to fresh links to legitimate paid online surveys on a regular basis.

You need to keep in mind though that you do not have to pay a fee for taking a survey. A legitimate paid online survey will not require you to spend any amount for taking its survey. It is important that you take note that the only time you can be charged fees is when you sign up for the services offered by paid survey banks or databases.

It is quite true that most paid surveys online pay out only a small rate to respondents. This should not discourage you from taking advantage of this opportunity to earn more online. The technique here is that you should not stick with completing just a single survey – try to answer as many surveys as you can everyday so you can maximize your chances of earning supplemental income.

Remember that paid surveys are not get-rich-quick schemes. They are meant to help you earn supplemental income. If you come across websites that ask you to pay a certain fee so you can get rich quick through online surveys, better think again. Try to review the credibility of that website as you might only be wasting your time on a scam.

Helpful Tips When Looking for Legitimate Paid Surveys

October 10, 2009 by shuey03 Leave a Comment

When I first started out in answering online paid surveys to earn extra cash, I found it hard to find ‘real’ sites—those that will not spam you or not compensate your work. I discovered there were several of these in the Internet. It was a terrible experience. But after several tries, I soon discovered how to find legitimate paid surveys.

Here are some guidelines on how to spot legitimate paid survey sites for all you who are new at this:

– Make sure to create a separate email account. You can be swamped with survey requests from different survey sites that you sign up with and if you use your personal email, you may find it difficult to organize your mail.

– Keep a list of your usernames and passwords if you plan to sign up with several online survey sites.

– When searching for sites to sign up with, make sure to not go with those that appear on pop-ups. These are mostly advertisements that will only send you spam. Although they are not designed to hoodwink you, they can be very inconvenient. They will ask you to provide some information which they will only sell to marketing companies.

– When a certain site asks you for a fee, leave right away. Legitimate paid survey sites will not ask you to pay anything, not even a dime. Access to online surveys should be free.

– Legitimate paid surveys will tell you upfront what to expect in terms of payment. They will not mislead you the way fraudulent sites do. Such sites will entice you with promises of earning hundreds, even thousands of dollars and other great prizes. This is not plausible because you will not earn that much by answering online surveys, unless you are registered with more than 10 sites. On the average, a survey will pay between $5 and $20.

– Stay away from sites that ask for your credit card or any bank information.

– Legitimate paid survey sites would have certain logos like AMA, BBB, and Castro. Look for these.

– Be careful with survey sites that are heavily advertised. When a site is full of advertisements all you see are boxes of ads, you can be 90 percent sure that it is not designed to provide you an opportunity to earn money. Another thing to note is that survey sites that advertise another survey site can’t be fully trusted.

– It would help to go through the sites first. Read their company profile and find out as much information as you can. Look for their FAQs page. This should have the answers to your inquiries.

90% of Money Made By Paid Surveys Is Made By 10% of The People Taking Them

November 13, 2008 by shuey03 Leave a Comment

Wow!  That was probably a pretty shocking statement to some of you.  The sad thing is, it is true and most of you are probably falling into that 90% who make very little money with paid surveys.  All you have to do is Google “Paid Surveys” and you will find all sorts of reviews about how these sites are scams and a rip off.  Guess what, those people are writing that because they were in that 90% who didn’t make anything and want to stir up some trouble for the legitimiate paid survey companies.

Ok, now that we have gotten that out of the way, you are probably asking yourself, why is this the case.  Well, there are two main reasons why people don’t make any money with paid surveys.  I will go into each of them below.

1. They Give Up Too Soon

Believe it or not, paid survey companies reward their members who are constantly taking surveys for them with more surveys.  Most times, individuals get discouraged after the first survey, maybe even the second survey.  They then either opt out or just delete the survey invitations because they have no hope.  This gives the dedicated survey takers more surveys to complete, therefore earning probably ten times the money of the normal survey taker.  In this business it is all about perserverance and patience.  The money will come as you show your dedication.

2. They Refuse To Give Out Their Information

I am honestly baffeled by this one.  If you are dealing with the real paid survey companies like Opinion Outpost, Survey Spot, and Lightspeed, they are legally bound by law to hold your personal information private.  They will never, ever, ever sell or rent your information.  You can tell if these companies are legit by looking for a TrustE or BBB logo on their site.

Ok, so, the reason people fail to make money with paid surveys is because they will not fill out the other profiles that are asked of them.  These are simply to learn more about you so they can send you MORE surveys!!!  So, if you are not filling these out and others are, you are losing valuable survey opportunities and in the end, cold hard CASH!

I really hope that you will take these two things into consideration.  Look, we are not here to take your money!  It is obvious because everything on our site is free.  We give you paid survey companies for free, we give you email training for free.  There is honestly nothing in it for us.  We just want you to be successful and make money on the internet.

Please let us know if you have any questions or concerns.

Why Free Paid Survey Companies Are Legitimate!

September 26, 2008 by shuey03 5 Comments

There is a lot of negativity around the principle of paid surveys and how they are scams.  These individuals and companies have no reason or evidence that this is a true statement.  I, however, have been there and done that and want to share with you some very personal and detailed information about legitimate free paid surveys and how they are a great way for anyone to make money on the internet!

I believe that 99% of the websites and individuals who are promoting paid survey companies have no idea if they are for real or not.  I, however, have had the opportunity to work for one of the paid survey companies that I represent.  Not only did I work for this company, but I had many opportunities to work with the other survey companies in the industry and know of their validity.

Four years ago, I was fortunate enough to be hired by a local marketing research firm in Orem, UT.  The name of this firm is Western Wats.  When I was hired, I, along with another individuals (who I will not name) were responsible for the launch and growth of a new paid survey panel called Opinion Outpost.  Honestly, we pretty much started from scratch!!  When I was first hired, I had never heard of online paid surveys before.  In fact, I was probably as skeptical as you are now about their legitimacy and validity.  I thought, first “who in their right mind would want to take surveys for cash”, second “who in their right mind would pay someone cash for taking surveys on the internet”?  Of course, being a new employee at the firm, I just did what I was told and didn’t think much about it again.

About three months into my employment, the lady in the accounting office who was in charge of printing checks for the survey takers came to my desk and dropped a stack of checks that I needed to seperate, put in enevelopes, stamp, and deliver to the post office.  I thought, “WOW, this is for real!  People actually make money doing this!!!”.  That night I went home and signed up with every survey company that I could so I could make as much money as possible.  The surveys started rolling in and so did the cold hard cash!

Shortly after I received my first check from one of the companies (if you think I can remember which company, you are insane, it was 4 years ago) I went to my boss to ask how we could afford to cut all those checks to those people.  I really didn’t know anything about marketing research, how it worked, and how people made money from it.  He taught me all about it that afternoon and I am going to share with you exactly what I learned.

Companies such as General Motors, Target, Sony, Apple, Blackberry, Fisher Price, and thousands of other companies need to learn how their current customers and others who are not their customers feel about their current products and possible future products that they might release.  This is called marketing research.  It is very obvious that we, as individuals, respect our own privacy and expect others to do so as well.  In the past, we have received so many telemarketing or survey research phone calls that we have become frusturated and flat out annoyed to the point where we just hang up or not even answer the phone at all.  From this was born the Do Not Call Registry which pretty much put every telemarketing company out of business.  Let me be clear, marketing researchers collecting data are not restricted from calling you for research purposes, however, the industry has suffered a huge blow because people think that any phone call from any company falls under the registry.

Because of this, marketing research companies needed to evolve and provide a way for their clients to still collect the data that they need, while making it worth while for the people taking the surveys.  They came up with a business plan of how they could provide value to both the client and the average person spending their time taking surveys.

So, they came up with a non-intrusive way of collecting market research data.  They have people sign up to make money by taking paid surveys.  These people volunteer their time for compensation.  The marketing research companies charge their clients extra money for this type of research so they can reasonably compensate their survey takers for their time and effort.  This is how you and I can make money by taking paid surveys!

Now that we have cleared up the legitimacy of Opinion Outpost, how about those other companies that MDX Research and hundreds of other survey sites represent?  Well, first off, we personally test every offer that we present to our users and make sure that they provide sufficient monetary value.  Also, toward the end of my employment with Opinion Outpost, we had many opportunities to work with other companies like Greenfield Online, Harris Poll, My Survey, Ipsos iSay and other marketing research companies.  If they could not collect enough data for their clients, they would have us fill the rest and provide compensation for our members.  This is a testimony to me and hopefully everyone reading this post that these paid surveys are legitimate and you can make money from them!

The last three months at Opinion Outpost was probably the most miserable months of my life!  I hardly got any work done because I was stuffing checks for our survey takers for 8 hours a day, about 3 or 4 days a week.  We literally sent out hundreds of thousands of checks a month to our survey panel members.  I have created a video that is currently on YouTube that talks about paid surveys and shows a couple of the checks that I have received.  This is legitimate, if you want to make money on the internet, this is an excellent way to do it!

I left this company about a year ago to pursue other opportunities including the launch of MDX Research.  I knew first hand that this was for real and wanted to share it with people like you, that is why I compiled our paid survey directory.  It has been very rewarding receiving countless emails from happy users of MDX Research.  It has also been very challenging trying to overcome all of the negativity and lies that are surfacing about this industry.

I want everyone to know that I appreciate you visiting our site and I highly encourage feedback and suggestions.  You can emails us with questions, feedback, or suggestions by clicking here.

You will probably also notice that our site has begun adding international paid surveys for individuals living outside the US.  We are also providing surveys for Hispanics and teens.  Over the next six months, you will also see a re-design of the website that will provide more information about each company, their contact information, and anything else that we think will make this a better experience for you.

I strongly encourage you to click here and sign up with the top ten paying survey companies on the internet today!  You will start getting surveys and start making money within a day’s time.
